Glory
Recognition earned through decisive deeds, courage, generosity, and overcoming formidable opposition. Glory rewards actions that become part of a werewolf’s legend, but pursuing acclaim without considering the consequences can turn bravery into destructive obsession.
Overview
Total Renown is Glory + Honor + Wisdom. Gifts use their associated Renown in their rolls when specified. The Storyteller may also apply relevant Renown to social interactions with Garou or spirits. Renown measures recognition and standing, not moral goodness.
Chagrin temporarily lowers the affected Renown by one, or by two while subject to the Rite of Shame. That Renown cannot be increased with experience while chagrin remains. Appropriate conduct can restore it; serious cases may require the Rite of Contrition. Agree on the path to restoration with the Storyteller.
