Rite of the Living Caern
Perform at a consistent time each month to maintain a caern’s spiritual vitality.
Rite
- Participant model
- One Rite master, with eligible assistants.
- Group roll policy
- The Rite master must know this Rite and have at least one Rage. Other participating Garou must also retain their Wolf. Each helper contributes one Rage die, plus one regular die if they know the Rite. Use the Rite master’s traits and include their normal Rage dice. Unless the specific Rite says otherwise, performance occupies a scene, and a failed Rite cannot be led again by that master until the next day.

Effect
Perform at a consistent time each month to maintain a caern’s spiritual vitality. Success preserves its rating until the next monthly renewal. Failure allows another attempt the following night; failure or neglect throughout the full-moon period lowers Caern Value by 1. Each Brutal outcome introduces a complication without automatically failing the Rite.
