Rite of Shame
Increase the subject’s chagrin penalty to 2 and establish the conditions for atonement.

- One Rite master, with eligible assistants.
- Group roll policy
- The Rite master must know this Rite and have at least one Rage. Other participating Garou must also retain their Wolf. Each helper contributes one Rage die, plus one regular die if they know the Rite. Use the Rite master’s traits and include their normal Rage dice. Unless the specific Rite says otherwise, performance occupies a scene, and a failed Rite cannot be led again by that master until the next day.

Effect
Increase the subject’s chagrin penalty to 2 and establish the conditions for atonement. The subject carries a visible mark until those conditions are met. Removing it early produces a supernatural odor imposing a three-die penalty to Social tests until the mark is restored.
