Occult

Knowledge of supernatural claims, traditions, and practices.

Overview

Occult covers supernatural traditions, symbols, reported phenomena, and esoteric teachings. It helps distinguish claims and recognize practices, but knowledge is not the same as the power to perform a ritual. A character may understand a tradition without accepting all of its explanations as true.
