Noticing significant details in the immediate surroundings.
Overview
Awareness concerns noticing significant details and recognizing that something deserves attention. It can involve any useful sense, including sight, hearing, and smell. Investigation usually develops an explanation from clues; Awareness often determines whether the clue is noticed in the first place.
Using the ratings
The examples below are original illustrations of relative capability, not automatic successes or new Difficulty rules. The pool, opposition, equipment, and circumstances still matter.
