Overview
Investigation develops explanations from evidence. It covers examining scenes, following leads, locating missing people, and testing theories against what is known. The available evidence limits the conclusions; a good roll does not create facts that the investigator has no way to discover.
Using the ratings
The examples below are original illustrations of relative capability, not automatic successes or new Difficulty rules. The pool, opposition, equipment, and circumstances still matter.
