Generation 11

An 11th-generation vampire has a Blood Potency range of 1–4. Their generation establishes their place in the chain of sires, independently of their age.

Rules

An 11th-generation character created using the standard ancilla option begins at Blood Potency 2. The permitted Blood Potency range is 1–4, so 2 is a creation value rather than a permanent minimum. Generation alone does not grant an age category's extra experience or Advantages; use the chosen creation guide.

A lower-numbered generation is stronger for the generation-specific Dominate rule: a vampire can spend one Willpower to negate Dominate used by a higher-numbered vampire. Successful diablerie of a lower-generation victim can lower the diablerist's generation under the diablerie procedure; feeding alone does not. Blood Potency normally grows within the generation's limits, roughly one dot per century of activity, and falls roughly one dot per fifty years of torpor.
