Before using a command

Use server commands inside the Chronicle's Discord server and sign in to the website with the same Discord account. Commands refresh or check server access and character permissions. The bot may offer a command name even when the current server, character or role cannot use it.

A slug is the short identifier in a character's URL. /characters shows available names and slugs. Use the receiving Chronicle's copy, not the independent base. The newer dice commands open menus and forms rather than requiring a slug.

Private command responses are visible to the person who invoked them. The new dice workflow's final result goes to its displayed Dice Channel, even though its selection and confirmation steps are private.

User-entered Difficulty accepts whole numbers from 0 through 10 in the web and Discord roll forms, including /test and /play-action. Zero is preserved as the target; it does not change a procedure's built-in fixed Difficulty.
