Vampire & Werewolf procedures

Use the dedicated commands and understand their required character and scene context.

Checked against the live application · 2026-09-20

Before a special procedure

Use these commands in the Chronicle's Discord server. They open the character-selection workflow for the relevant game. The character must be accepted and playable, the needed trackers and procedure must be enabled, and any recorded scene or session requirement must be satisfied.

The web Roll Dice page offers the corresponding Roll type. Check the character, applicable fields, and Dice Channel before submitting. The result records the procedure and any resource changes; not every procedure spends Willpower.

Vampire commands

Vampire commands
CommandUse and preparation
/rouseMake a Rouse Check for the selected Vampire and update Hunger when required.
/surgeEnter the test pool before Blood Surge and its Difficulty. The selected Blood Potency table supplies the bonus; the procedure also applies its Rouse Check.
/remorseResolve Remorse using the character's Humanity and Stains within the recorded session.
/frenzy-vampMake a Vampire frenzy resistance test with the relevant Difficulty and confirmed situation.
/compulsionDetermine a random Compulsion for the character; read the resulting instruction.
/mendingMend supported Vampire Health damage, using the applicable injury choice and resource rules. Superficial mending needs the recorded scene/turn; nightly aggravated mending needs a recorded awakening.
/blushResolve Blush of Life for the character's recorded in-game night. Record awakening first when required.

Werewolf commands

Werewolf commands
CommandUse and preparation
/rageMake one or two Rage checks and update the character's Rage.
/haranoResolve the supported Harano test with the situation's Difficulty and required scene confirmation.
/haugloskResolve the supported Hauglosk test with the situation's Difficulty and required scene confirmation.
/frenzy-wwResolve Werewolf frenzy using the character's current state and Chronicle policy.
/shapeshiftChoose the destination form and apply the supported transformation costs.
/regenerationChoose the supported injury type and apply regeneration with its recorded turn and resource limits.

For a frenzy that forces a change into Crinos, the current default sets Rage to 5 and makes the usual two shifting checks. The Chronicle can choose to leave Rage at 5 without those checks. There is no shifting cost from this policy if already in Crinos. The recorded result identifies the policy used.

When a request needs confirmation

  1. Supply a concise reason describing the scene facts.
  2. If the current policy requires staff, submit the request for confirmation. A pending request does not roll dice or spend resources.
  3. Staff open Review play requests or use /play-review with the request number, decision, and reason.
  4. On approval, the saved request is validated again, resolved once, and delivered. Rejection leaves the character unchanged.

If the character or destination changed since the request, the system can require a fresh request. Staff should resolve the conflict rather than approve stale state.

Other supported play procedures

Open Play actions on the character sheet, or use /play-action, for procedures that do not have their own new embed command. These include feeding, rising for the night, applying damage or Stains, session Willpower recovery, Desperate Rage, Merciless Willpower, confirming the end of frenzy, and recording a Tribe ban breach.
