Effect

Roll Intelligence + Oblivion at Difficulty 3 for an area up to a building or landmark. A win reveals the current density, a critical win also reveals a recent change, and total failure produces a false reading. Detection is required to benefit from a thin veil. Thin areas reduce Ceremony Difficulty by 1; frayed or absent areas reduce it by 2. An absent veil also allows wraiths to cross and inflicts two Superficial Health damage on mortals that cannot heal until they leave. A thick veil has no modifier; an impenetrable veil prevents wraith crossing. An Oblivion Rouse result of 1 or 10 also causes a Stain.
