Effect
Roll Intelligence + Blood Sorcery against a Storyteller-set Difficulty, typically 2 for a simple document search to 5 for hidden encrypted information in a large collection; supernatural concealment can raise it. A room takes minutes, while a library can require hours or the night. Finding text does not translate an unknown language or decipher a code. Nonwritten media require Storyteller approval and usually greater Difficulty. Bloodstains remain on searched material.
