Submit a reusable base, respond to review, and change an accepted Chronicle sheet.

Submit a base to a Chronicle
- Open the independent base character and select Submit to a Chronicle.
- Choose the receiving Chronicle and add an explanation, including any unusual choices you want reviewed.
- Submit the current version. Chargen records a fixed snapshot and checks it against the Chronicle's current settings.
- Open Applications to follow its status and comments.
The receiving server must have completed setup and be accepting applications. You must belong to that Discord server. Character limits, permitted games and types, allowed sources, and creation restrictions can prevent admission.

| Request changes | Read the notes, edit the base, then use Submit current base version on the application. This creates a new attempt. |
| Rejected | Read the decision. A later submission depends on the Chronicle's resubmission policy; rejection is not an accepted character. |
| Withdraw | Ends an open application when permitted. It does not delete the reusable base. |
| Approved | When all required approvals and checks are satisfied, a separate Chronicle sheet is created. Play on that copy. |
Review an application as staff
- Open the Chronicle → Character applications, or use /character-applications in Discord.
- Open an application and inspect its submitted sheet, validation messages, explanation, and settings revision.
- Use Assign to me if you are taking responsibility for the review. Add ordinary comments for the player, or mark a comment Storyteller-only when appropriate.
- Request changes, Reject, or Approve. Give a clear reason and document any permitted exception.
- If another editor changed the application or the Chronicle settings, reload and obtain a fresh submission when required before approving.
Self-approval is off by default. A Chronicle can require more than one approval. Automatic acceptance is a Chronicle choice, with staff review as the default. Passing some checks is not enough when the validator reports uncovered content or an unsupported case.
Back to top ↑Edit an accepted sheet
- Open the Chronicle copy and select Request sheet changes.
- Choose Prepare an edit to start from the played sheet, or Prepare update from base if the Chronicle permits it.
- Open Edit proposal, make the proposed changes, and save them.
- Return to the change request, explain the change, and select Submit proposed changes.
- A reviewer inspects it and records the decision and any XP cost. Approval updates the existing Chronicle sheet rather than creating a replacement URL.
Live damage and supported resource state are preserved when a proposal is applied. If the played sheet changes after the proposal was made, including relevant tracker changes, the proposal can become stale and require a fresh version. Neither approval nor a base update silently changes sheets in other Chronicles.

Open the sheet → Delete character, read the confirmation, check the required confirmation, and submit. You can delete your own characters; Bot Staff with administrative authority can delete others.
Deletion hides the character and withdraws its open applications. It retains historical data and does not remove independently accepted copies in other Chronicles. There is no self-service permanent purge or restoration button.
