Wyrmtide p. 31 (PDF p. 33) uses different endpoints in its System and Duration: the bite damage rating and the added damage bonus, respectively. The project owner clarified that the reduction stops when the added bonus reaches zero. Chargen follows that clarification and retains the breed-form rest requirement before further biting. This is an owner clarification of the book’s internal inconsistency, not a claimed published erratum.

Effect

Add half Glory, rounded up, to bite damage. After each bite, reduce only this added bonus by 1. When the bonus reaches 0, the Gift ends and you cannot make further bite attacks until you rest in your breed form. Do not continue reducing the bite’s normal damage rating. The Gift otherwise lasts for one scene. Shark, rodent, or bat spirits teach it.
