Overview

Auspex, Celerity, and Presence combine awareness, speed, and social influence. The character’s aesthetic has a direct effect on Discipline use, so defining it helps the table apply the bane consistently. Obsession can make a compelling sight or experience compete with an urgent objective.

Movement and reactions accelerated beyond ordinary limits.

Presence

Supernatural influence over attention and emotion.

Bane

Discipline use suffers in surroundings the character finds lacking in beauty.

In surroundings judged unbeautiful according to the character’s established aesthetic, subtract Bane Severity from Discipline dice pools. The Storyteller applies this assessment in context.

Compulsion

Obsession

Fixate on a beautiful subject. Actions unrelated to it lose 2 dice, and conversation stays focused on it. The compulsion ends when the subject can no longer be perceived or the scene ends.
