Ministry

Bright light interferes with the vampire, and sunlight is especially damaging.

Overview

Obfuscate, Presence, and Protean support approaches that rely on concealment, influence, or changing physical circumstances. Lighting becomes a meaningful part of planning a meeting or entering a location. Transgression brings the Chronicle’s moral boundaries into the character’s immediate decisions.

Disciplines

Obfuscate

Concealment that interferes with an observer’s recognition.

Presence

Supernatural influence over attention and emotion.

Protean

Alteration of the vampire’s physical form.

Bane

Ministry Bane

Bright light interferes with the vampire, and sunlight is especially damaging.

While directly exposed to bright natural or artificial light, subtract Bane Severity from every dice pool. Sunlight also causes additional aggravated damage equal to Bane Severity.

Compulsion

Transgression

Actions that do not help tempt someone, including the vampire, to violate a Chronicle Tenet or a Conviction lose 2 dice. The compulsion ends once that transgression causes at least 1 Stain.
